This job is for an administrative assistant supporting a team that helps veterans and their families access education benefits through the G.I. Bill.
You'll handle tasks like updating databases, answering inquiries, arranging travel, and organizing reports for program approvals.

As an Administrative Assistant 1, you will be responsible for assisting professional staff in the Division of Veterans/Military Education who are responsible for providing access to education and training opportunities for the state’s military personnel, veterans, and their dependents.
Work involves maintaining and updating databases, providing general office support, responding to telephone and email inquiries, making travel arrangements, and running reports.

Work Schedule and Additional Information:
Telework: You may have the opportunity to work from home (telework) part-time, up to 4 days per week.
In order to telework, you must have a securely configured high-speed internet connection and work from an approved location inside Pennsylvania.
If you are unable to telework, you will have the option to report to the headquarters office in Harrisburg. The ability to telework is subject to change at any time.
