This position is a specialized role that involves providing comprehensive support to the Cornplanter Forest District Manager across a range of functions, including administrative tasks, operational duties, communication efforts, personnel management, office administration, employee relations, public relations, and clerical responsibilities.
The individual in this role is expected to exercise independent judgment and take initiative, ensuring that they accurately interpret and apply the policies and procedures set forth by the Commonwealth, the Department, and the Bureau in relation to all administrative and district-related activities.
This requires a strong understanding of the relevant guidelines and the ability to navigate complex situations effectively, making this position crucial for the smooth operation of the district's functions.

Work Schedule and Additional Information:
Telework: You may have the opportunity to work from home (telework) part-time, up to 1 day per month.
In order to telework, you must have a securely configured high-speed internet connection and work from an approved location inside Pennsylvania.
If you are unable to telework, you will have the option to report to the headquarters office in Warren. The ability to telework is subject to change at any time.
