As an Administrative Assistant 1, you will play a key role in evaluating compliance for specialty license applications for viatical settlement brokers, public adjusters and any other specialty license applicant.
You can expect to provide direction, guidance and technical instruction both verbally and in writing on proper forms to be completed for various transactions and accurately answer questions regarding licensing procedures in Pennsylvania.
Work involves validating licenses for completeness of data and the presence of all required documents, requesting additional information or documents if needed and reviewing and processing transactions.
This position accesses and inputs data into licensing database systems and other programs utilized by the National Association of Insurance Commissioners (NAIC), Department of vendors, or the Commonwealth.

Work Schedule and Additional Information:
Telework: You may have the opportunity to work from home (telework) part-time, two days per week in office.
In order to telework, you must have a securely configured high-speed internet connection and work from an approved location inside Pennsylvania.
If you are unable to telework, you will have the option to report to the headquarters office in Harrisburg. The ability to telework is subject to change at any time.
