Requirements

As an Administrative Assistant 1, you will be part of the program support team that manages all administrative duties for the Bureau of Clean Water program staff.

You will complete a variety of tasks including procurement, grant reimbursements, timekeeping, fee processing, event coordination, fleet management, and mail processing.

You will also serve as Content Coordinator by processing approved official document updates, correspondence, and technical literature.

This role requires effective organizational skills and thorough knowledge of administrative support responsibilities that will enable program staff to focus on technical priorities.

In addition, you will audit transactions, approve and code purchase documents, and compile reports.

Work Schedule and Additional Information:

  • Full-time employment, 37.5 hours per week
  • Work hours are 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 30-minute lunch. Your schedule may change based on operational needs.
  • Telework: You will have the opportunity to work from home (telework), part-time up to three days a week. In order to telework, you must have a securely configured high-speed internet connection.

    If you are unable to telework, you will have the option to report to the headquarters office in Harrisburg. The ability to telework is subject to change at any time.

  • Salary: Selected candidates who are new to employment with the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania will begin employment at the starting annual salary of $45,907.00 (before taxes).

Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:

  • Such training as may have been gained through graduation from a four year college or university or any equivalent combination of experience and training.
