Trident Technical College's Boeing Project is seeking an administrative and systems support specialist for the Procurement Manager. Primary responsibilities include:
- Coordinate project-related purchasing card activities to ensure timely payments and accurate record-keeping
- Support contract intake, review, and routing to facilitate swift contract processing and approval
- Maintain procurement documentation and electronic filing systems for 24-hour audit readiness
- Process small purchase orders and manage project-related procurement transactions to keep project deliverables on track
- Assist in administering the college’s e-procurement system as it relates to the Boeing Project, troubleshooting user issues and supporting training needs
- Coordinate procurement activities to guarantee timely, compliant, and efficient acquisition of goods and services aligned with project objectives and Boeing partnership requirements
- Ensure procurement operations comply with college policies, state regulations, and Boeing project requirements
- Serve as a liaison between the Procurement Office, project stakeholders, vendors, and college departments to support effective communication and project timelines
Requirements
This position requires a high school diploma and relevant experience in business management, public administration, or administrative services or a bachelor's degree may be substituted for the required work experience.
Qualifications
Preferred Skills:
- At least two (2) years of experience in procurement, purchasing, or administrative support, preferably within manufacturing and/or production.
- Working knowledge of procurement procedures, contract review, and e-procurement systems.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with electronic document management systems.
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with experience collaborating across departments.
- Ability to interpret and apply policies and procedures accurately.
- Certification such as Certified Professional Public Buyer (CPPB) or similar is desirable.
