Note: Actual salary includes locality pay (15-40%+ depending on location).
Job Description
Summary
This job involves teaching Certified Nursing Assistant courses at a community college, covering classroom lessons, lab simulations, and hands-on clinical training to prepare students for their certification exam.
It also includes managing class records, supplies, and other teaching duties while working flexibly across multiple campuses.
A good fit would be a licensed nurse with experience in elder or chronic care who enjoys mentoring students and is organized and adaptable.

Full Job Description
Provide instruction for Certified Nursing Assistant DHHS-approved courses which prepares students to sit for the Nurse Aide Competency Exam. Students receive training in basic nursing care through classroom lectures, simulated lab care, and hands-on clinical experience in a long-term care facility or other site. Manage attendance, grading, equipment and supplies inventories, and other administrative tasks associated with teaching. Be organized, prepared and student-centered to meet the standards of the college. Have the ability to work flexible hours and travel to other campuses and clinical sites within our service area.
This position is located across a variety of Midlands Technical College Campuses.
