Full Job Description

Teach Early Care and Education courses on an as needed basis to a diverse student body. Teach classes in a variety of modalities, including online and hybrid at the Giles campus. The adjunct instructor will follow the established syllabus, using multiple instructional methods that emphasize student success and retention, assessing learning, utilizing the college’s learning management system for grading and various instructional purposes, and participating in the department’s continuous improvement process.

Requirements

Master’s Degree in Early Childhood Education or Master’s Degree in a related field with a minimum of 18 hours in Early Childhood Development and Education.

Qualifications

Experience teaching/training Early Care and Education curriculum to adults. Knowledge of the requirements of NAEYC Early Childhood Higher Education Program Accreditation.
