Job Description

Summary

This internship offers college students a chance to gain hands-on experience in information technology roles at the Defense Intelligence Agency in Colorado Springs.

Interns will support defense operations through teamwork, ethical practices, and high-quality IT work that contributes to national security.

It's ideal for motivated undergrads or recent grads passionate about tech and public service who thrive in collaborative, mission-driven environments.

Key Requirements

  • Current enrollment in or recent completion of a degree program in information technology, computer science, or a related field
  • Strong foundation in IT fundamentals, including knowledge of systems, networks, or software development
  • Ability to demonstrate teamwork, integrity, and commitment to excellence in responses to assessment factors
  • U.S. citizenship and eligibility for security clearance (due to defense intelligence context)
  • Effective communication skills to address mandatory assessment factors with specific examples from experience
  • Interest in defense and national security missions
