Full Job Description

You will serve as a WORK/LIFE CONSULTANT in theNAVAL SUPPORT ACTIVITY ANDERSEN GUAM.

In addition to the Basic Requirements for this position, your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-09 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector.

Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Specialized experience in written and oral communication, briefing small and large groups, acquiring and appropriately managing programs and resources.

Problem solving with good time management skills.

  • You will assess needs and provide continuing work/life services to leadership, organizations and services populations within assigned units and in the Family Support Center.
  • You will design, manage, develop and implement procedures to monitor, analyze and doucument service effectiveness.
  • You will design, develop and manage a variety of educational forums and briefings to enhance community capacity and thus assist serviced populations in improving work/life skills and knowledge of available resources.
  • You will establish, implement, assign, and manage work/life services delivery procedures that comply with regulatory requirements and meet community needs.
  • You will develop referral policies and procedures between the Family Support Center and base community agencies.
  • You will mange and direct volunteers and/or incumbents of work-study positions to promote effective team building and improved business practices.
  • You will mentor Family Support Center staff through interaction, consultation, training and career guidance.
