About the Position: You will serve as Supervisor over the Water Treatment Plant, planning, directing, overseeing and supervising the execution of work and administrative activities.
You will direct and supervise the operation of all treatment processes, including coagulation/flocculation, sedimentation, filtration, aeration, disinfection, and chemical feed systems.

Minimum Qualifications (Screen Out Element): Ability to do the work of a WATER TREATMENT PLANT OPERATOR SUPERVISOR to include the ability to lead or supervise.
Abilities include (1) planning work schedules and sequence of operations for subordinates; (2) explaining work requirements, methods, and procedures; (3) measuring and introducing chemicals into the water system; (4) utilize SCADA system to identify trends and optimize operations; and (5) conducting water quality test to verify water quality is kept within established limits.
Failure to meet this Screen Out Element will result in an ineligible rating. Ability to Interpret Instructions, Specifications, etc.
