About the Position:This position is located in Sembach, Germany and is for the DoDEA Education Directorate Digital & Virtual Learning Division - DoDEA Virtual High School.

Federal employees in Sembach, Germany are currently entitled to receive a 42% Post Allowance (COLA) in addition to the base salary (rate is subject to change).

This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-05).

Some federal jobs allow you to substitute your education for the required experience in order to qualify.

For this grade, you must meet the qualification requirement using experience alone--no substitution of education for experience is permitted.

Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-05).

Major Duties:

  • Maintain property and supply records for the school.
  • Report any and all deficiencies to the school principal.
  • Use a Purchase Card to purchase supplies and services for the school.
  • Complete purchase actions including pre-approvals and requests for quotes, ensuring requirements for competition or sole source documentation and approval are met.
  • Perform a variety of school administrative support functions, such as student registration, records maintenance, tuition status, and other related processes.
  • Manually create and disseminate all report cards for students each quarter.
  • Integrate data from various types of software to produce final products which are accurate and meet the needs of the school.
  • Verify the availability of supply funds, supply levels, emergency conditions, economic order quantities, and authorizations.
  • Regular walking, bending, standing and lifting items up to 40lbs.
