Base salary range: $147,649 - $221,900

Note: Actual salary includes locality pay (15-40%+ depending on location).
This job is for a veterinarian who will provide clinical care to privately owned pets at a military veterinary facility, including check-ups, treatments, surgeries, and health advice to owners.
It involves overseeing assistants and handling lab tests and records.
A good fit would be a licensed vet with experience in small animal care who is physically able to handle animals and work in a busy clinic setting.
This position is located at the Global Veterinary Medical Practice Veterinary Treatment Facilities.

Possess a valid unrestricted state license to practice veterinary medicine (may be a valid state license from any US state). Official transcripts must be provided prior to time of hire.
Unofficial college/university transcripts may be uploaded for initial qualification screening.
In addition to the above qualifications, candidates who possess the following qualifications will be considered "Highly Preferred" or "Best Qualified": Possess active United States Department of Agriculture/ Animal and Plant Health Inspection Service (USDA/APHIS) accreditation.
Physical Requirement: Ability to lift 45 lbs and long periods of standing, restraining, kneeling, reaching and sitting, etc.
