This seasonal job with the Michigan Department of Transportation involves leading and mentoring groups of young people aged 16 and older during a summer program focused on building communication skills, teamwork, and work habits while introducing them to transportation careers.
As a Facilitator or Team Leader, you'll organize activities, ensure safety, supervise daily tasks, and act as a positive role model for participants.

The Michigan Department of Transportation’s (MDOT) University Region is looking for Facilitators and Team Leaders to lead, empower, and mentor a group of individuals 16+ years old as part of our Summer Youth Group (SYG).
The SYG is centered around enhancing communication skills, participating in diverse teams, developing good work habits, and learning about employment opportunities at MDOT.
As a Facilitator or Team Leader in the SYG, you will act as a liaison between MDOT staff and SYG team members; oversee training and work assignments; assist with safety training; and oversee compliance of program rules and regulations.
Facilitator Position ($17.50/hr.)
