Full Job Description

Prepares engineer's estimates, contract time, and DBE goal calculations for basic and complex road and bridge projects. Prepares the proposals for basic and complex road and bridge projects. Coordinates the development of supplemental specifications. Coordinates the receipt of special provisions from consultants, program managers, district personnel and other sections within the department. Research problems with bid packages and recommend solutions. Maintains a database of bid history information. Assists in the preparation of addendum letters to correct errors in the bid documents. Assists in scheduling and attend meetings and conferences. Performs other related duties as assigned.

Requirements

A bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology, or Construction Science and Management and one (1) year of engineering or construction management work experience; or an approved acceptable equivalence. A valid motor vehicle operator's license is required.
