Base salary range: $147,649 - $221,900

Note: Actual salary includes locality pay (15-40%+ depending on location).
This job involves providing administrative and human resources support to teams that manage employee leaves and disabilities for over 5,000 transit workers, including tasks like scheduling meetings, handling records, responding to questions, and helping build a unified system for leave management.

Run PeopleSoft queries to perform data analysis to troubleshoot leave accrual issues.
Provide support to the teams by researching and gathering complex data to process and audit Personal Change Notices (PCN's), Paid Parental Leave, Military Leave, donated leave programs and Sick Leave donations, maintaining detailed records of employee absences and leave usage, responding to third party disability claims, opening new accommodation cases, and preparing reports on leave and accommodation activity as needed.
Serve as a first-line contact for both teams by fielding information requests, and other inquiries from employees and staff who submit written inquiries to the centralized Leaves Services and Disability Services mailboxes and fax lines.
Provide employees with resources and general information on leave entitlements, policies, procedures, and answer any questions they may have.

Who May ApplyWork Schedule
This position is non-exempt from the provisions of the Fair Labor Standards Act and is therefore eligible for overtime pay if scheduled. The work schedule is normally Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. Variations may be required depending on the demands and needs of the work.

Work Location
The work associated with this position is currently being performed in a hybrid fashion including teleworking, complemented with onsite work and meetings as needed. Frequency of onsite work will vary based on business and operational needs. Primary on-site work location is, 201 S Jackson St, Seattle, WA (King Street Center).Teleworking Requirement
The work associated with this position will be performed predominantly in a hybrid work environment working in the office, various King County Metro locations, and at home.
Employees will have access to shared workspaces at various King County facilities.
Employees must reside in Washington state and within a reasonable distance to their King County worksite to respond to workplace reporting requirements.
