THIS IS AN INDIANA NATIONAL GUARD TITLE 32 EXCEPTED SERVICE POSITION This position is part of the IN 181st Intelligence Wing, Indiana National Guard under Position Description Number D2702000.

MILITARY GRADES: SSgt/E5-MSgt/E7 COMPATIBLE MILITARY ASSIGNMENTS: **3F271** If applicant is willing to join the Indiana Air National Guard and meet the AFSC compatibility requirements, please upload your Report Individual of Personnel (RIP) to your documents on this application to determine ASVAB qualification.

GENERAL EXPERIENCE: Applicant's demonstrated ability to follow directions, read, understand, and retain instructions, regulations, and procedures that otherwise validate the ability to perform or learn to perform the duties of the position.

SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE: 1-year specialized experience equivalent to at least the next lower grade.

Knowledge of Army or Air Force education and training programs regarding their principles and procedures.

Experience in performing interviews and counseling techniques; training techniques and instruction methods; task analysis procedures, learning processes, curriculum development, training evaluations, and education and training systems and products; effective writing skills; editing practices; instructional media application, training reporting, program and curriculum validation, and implementation procedures.

Experience in scheduling training events and facilities; supporting assistance visits and training meetings; or assisting in work center and individual job qualification standard development; education institution registration requirements; and military personnel classification system and policies.

Experience in the capabilities of communicative interpersonal skill applications and distance learning concepts.

Experience as a participant and presenter during training and military or civilian conference events.

If approved, the memorandum will be returned to you and then submitted with your application. Major Duties:

  • Verifies member eligibility, course availability, and validates school orders, travel orders, PCS procedures, and pre-requisites are properly complied with in-accordance with National Guard Bureau (NGB) guidance.
  • Manages formal schools training budget, to include all formal schools and Mission Essential Skills Training (MEST).
  • Assists in all aspects of Education, Training and Distance Learning Programs.
  • Provides education and training advisory services to commanders and staff on all education and training programs.
  • Assists with the development of education and training instructional products.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
