Full Job Description

You will serve as a TRAINING SPECIALIST (SNIPER) in the NAVAL SPECIAL ADVANCED TRAINING CENTER of NAVAL SPECIAL WARFARE CTR CORONADO.

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-09 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector.

Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Maintaining and developing sniper course curriculum to ensure accordance with NSWC standards AND conducting and instructing courses relevant to sniper training (i.e: long range marksmanship).

  • You will resolve problems with source materials, subject matter, and/or students.
  • You will participate substantially in NSW Sniper course development and/or course modification.
  • You will revise Sniper Course lesson plans to reflect new developments in the field and to relate to students with a variety of complicated, specialized, or persistent learning difficulties.
  • You will make adjustments in presentation or other instructional methods, to include adjustments to accommodate or resolve student and/or source material problems, last minute schedule changes, equipment malefactions or lack of supplies.
  • You will prepare or administer formal and informal written and/or performance skills tests or quizzes.
