Base salary range: $74,441 - $96,770
Typical requirements: 1 year specialized experience at GS-11. Advanced degree + significant experience.
Note: Actual salary includes locality pay (15-40%+ depending on location).
This job involves acting as an expert in electronic warfare to train and support Navy teams during exercises, helping design realistic scenarios that teach combat tactics at sea.
You'll work with carrier groups and ships to plan training events and evaluate how well they meet goals.
It's a great fit for someone with military training experience who enjoys bridging theory and real-world operations in a naval setting.
You will serve as a Training Specialist in the Commander Carrier Strike Group FOUR of CDR STRIKE FORCE TRNG ATLANTIC.
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the 12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector.
Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Experience serving as an Electronic Warfare subject matter expert and trainer.
Experience applying knowledge of US Navy at-sea and ashore training programs and in-depth understanding of Live-Virtual-Constructive training environment.
Proficiency in exercise development and planning for Carrier Strike Groups, Amphibious Ready Groups, individual ships and international participants.
Experience applying knowledge of Information Warfare (IW) doctrine and operations proficiency.
Experience designing and implementing complex training scenarios that bridge the gap between theoretical doctrine and tactical execution.
