The primary purpose of this position is to lead workers to accomplish trades and/or labor work on a substantially full time and continuing basis.
In order to qualify, you must meet the quality level of experience requirements described in the Office of Personnel Management (OPM) Qualification Standards Handbook X-118C.
QUALIFICATIONS: Applicants will be rated in accordance with the OPM Qualification Standard Handbook X-118C for the WG-6900 Warehousing And Stock Handling Family..
Although a specific length of time and experience is not required for most blue-collar positions, you must meet any screen-out element listed, and show through experience and training that you possess the quality level of knowledge and skill necessary to perform the duties of the position at the level for which you are applying.
Qualification requirements emphasis is on the quality of experience, not necessarily the length of time.

(other than blueprints) Knowledge of Materials Dexterity and Safety PART-TIME OR UNPAID EXPERIENCE: Credit will be given for appropriate unpaid and or part-time work.

You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. WORKING CONDITIONS: Work is generally done in areas that are well lighted, heated, and ventilated.
The attendant may occasionally work in areas that are drafty. The work is sometimes dirty, dusty, and greasy. The attendant is frequently exposed to the possibility of cuts, scrapes, and bruises.
Major Duties:
Leads a team of trades and/or labor workers. Performs nonsupervisory trades and/or labor work that is usually of the same kind and level as members of the work crew led.
Performs a complete range of standard receiving and storing of assigned stock, tools, tool kits, and/or equipment items. Supports supply personnel in the performance of inventories.
