About the position: This position is Non-appropriated Fund (NAF) and will be assigned to the Tennis Club at Wright-Patterson AFB.
Responsible for the economic and efficient operation of the Tennis Club.
Implements higher level directives, formulates procedures and programs to ensure high standards of recreational and promotional programs.

Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social).
You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience.
Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience; if the position allows for qualifying based on education, your transcripts will be required as part of your application.
Qualifying Experience: Experience which provided thorough knowledge of the theories, practices, techniques and procedures needed to manage a Tennis Club.
Must be knowledgeable in related business procedures, such as accounting, budget preparation, merchandise resale and use of computers for purchases, budgets and written correspondence.
Must be able to plan objectives, assess progress, make adjustments to meet new requirements, resolve problems, communicate effectively and work well with others.
Requires completion of a National Agency Check with Inquiries (NACI). Major Duties:
Responsible for the economic and efficient operation of the Tennis Club.
Implements higher level directives, formulates procedures and programs to ensure high standards of recreational and promotional programs.
Establishes, reviews and evaluates purchase of supplies, equipment and resale merchandise. Establishes financial goals commensurate with market analysis of area or region.
Prepares quarterly budget, analyzes financial results and maintains solid financial condition of the club. Responsible for work force management, recruitment and staff training.
Plans work to be accomplished by employees, oversees work and evaluates work performance. Makes recommendation on awards and performance bonuses. Responsible for adequate control of NAF purchases.
Manages real property resources and provides expert advice on renovations, improvements, minor and major construction. Ensures proper military and civilian protocol is practiced.
Responsible for ensuring all hazmat receipt and ordering documentation are filed, if applicable.
Responsible for all MSDS and ensuring all handbooks are current and correct and ensures that all hazmat and safety training is given, recorded and documented. Conducts monthly inspections.
Ensures that the club follows instructions pertaining to funds protection, protection of assets, safety, sanitation, security and first aid.
Participates in base exercises and inspections as required to ensure security and safety standards are met. Maintains dress standards commensurate with other Force Support activities.
Responsible for the oversight and guidance of contracted Tennis Pros to ensure lessons are commensurate with the needs of the Wright-Patterson AFB Community.
