This job involves testing and evaluating anti-submarine warfare systems on Navy ships and submarines to ensure they work effectively and safely.
The role requires leading teams of engineers and technicians during onboard tests, coordinating with ship crews, and providing expert advice on technical issues.

You will serve as a Technician in the USW Ship Test and Evaluation Branch (Code 242), within the Fleet Warfighting Readiness and Operations Division (Code 24) at NAVUNSEAWARCENDIV KEYPORT WA.
This position is part of the Warfare Centers Personnel Demonstration Project. The NT-5 pay band encompasses positions equivalent to GS-13 and GS-14.
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the NT-4 pay band (GS-11 and GS-12 equivalency) in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector applying technical electronics techniques to test and evaluate antisubmarine warfare systems.
