Entry salary: $62,107 | Full performance (GS-12): up to $96,770

Typical requirements: 1 year specialized experience at GS-10. Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree, or 3 years graduate study.
Note: Actual salary includes locality pay (15-40%+ depending on location).
This job involves leading test and evaluation projects for Navy combat and weapon systems, such as those on ships, to ensure they work safely and effectively.
You'll guide teams through testing phases, review designs, and collaborate with engineers and stakeholders to improve processes.
It's a great fit for experienced technicians who enjoy leading projects in a military tech environment and have a background in systems testing.
You will serve as a TECHNICIAN in the TEST ENGINEERING AND INTEGRATION DIVISION, COMBAT SYSTEMS TEST & EVALUATION DEPARTMENT of NAVAL SURFACE WARFARE CENTER, located in Port Hueneme, CA.
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the NT-04 (GS-11/12 equivalency) grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector.
Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Leading Navy Combat/Weapon system level Test & Evaluation projects; leading teams; partnering and collaborating with others; and developing others.
