Job Description

Summary

This job involves leading the planning, budgeting, and execution of a key IT program called S3ALE within the Navy, ensuring it stays on track with costs, timelines, and goals while working with teams and stakeholders.

Key Requirements

Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Ability to lead acquisition and program management activities for assigned program/IT system to meet cost, schedule, and/or performance requirements.

Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. Major Duties:

  • You will develop comprehensive program plans and strategies, monitor and control execution for the S3ALE program, enabling effective and efficient execution of the program and ensuring fulfillment of cost, schedule, and performance objectives.
  • You will develop Title 22 Security Assistance Program and Budget Review (SAPBR), Above Fiscal Guidance, Unfunded Requirement submissions to support the accomplishment of customer, resource sponsor, and organizational goals and objectives.
  • You will provide analyses, reporting, and recommendations for line(s) of business, within the Naval Applications and Business Services program, to ensure the program office leadership and appropriate stakeholders.
  • You will apply Agile Project Management with the best practices and methodologies to develop and execute acquisition management strategies and plans to support technical development and financial control of Business IT systems life cycle.
  • You will partner with customers and resource sponsor to develop S3ALE transition plans and future road maps to integrate with overarching strategic and business plans and objectives of customer, resource sponsor, and the program office.
  • You will direct the allocation and utilization of resources (e.g., budget, contract, equipment, and manpower) to accomplish the established program/project goals, objectives, and budgetary requirements.
