This job involves leading the IT side of parking and transportation services at the University of South Carolina, making sure all tech systems run smoothly, stay secure, and help the team do their work better.

This position manages all information technology resources that support Transportation and Parking Services (TPS ) and ensures the reliability, security, and effectiveness of the department’s electronic data and systems. The role oversees the planning, development, implementation, and maintenance of all internal systems, both on-site and remote, and leads efforts to integrate new technologies that enhance departmental operations.
Requirements
• Verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to exercise good judgment in organizing work and setting priorities, balancing the interests of staff and readily readjusting priorities to respond to customer needs and expectations.
• Demonstrated strong ethical, professional and service-oriented leadership and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to provide excellent customer service in a positive and solutions-based manner.
Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree with 5 years of system management experience, specifically with at least 1 year of parking and transportation management systems.
• Experience with T2 Systems or similar is highly preferred.
