This vacancy is for a Survey Clerk OA position in the Department of Commerce, Field Division, Denver Regional Office located in Lakewood, Colorado. This announcement will close at 11:59 p.m.
Eastern Time on 03/25/2026. To qualify for the position of Survey Clerk OA, at GS-0303-5, you must meet the basic qualification requirements listed below.
Minimum Education Requirement: To be minimally qualified for this position you MUST have a typing proficiency of at least 40 words per minute with three or fewer errors in a five-minute writing sample.
AND Specialized Experience: For the GS-05, you must have one year of experience at a level of difficulty and responsibility equivalent to the GS-04 in the Federal service.
Experience for this position includes: providing office support to a staff and performing clerical duties such as, mass mailings, file system management, telephone monitoring, and maintain program forms and office files; maintaining survey materials, control files, computing ratios, and preparing computerized reports; using Google search or similar search engines, MapQuest or applications similar to YellowPages.com, Fast Data and Yahoo, using databases such as Access or Excel, conducting searches on specific data elements, reviewing case outcomes, and determining if adequate information is provided or if additional follow up is needed; or working and dealing with multiple customer demands in a professional environment.
OR Education: Four years above high school.
