Note: Actual salary includes locality pay (15-40%+ depending on location).
This job involves leading a team as a supervisory intelligence specialist for a special operations command in the Navy, focusing on managing programs, budgets, and technical systems related to intelligence gathering and operations in the Pacific.
It requires overseeing everything from contracts and logistics to testing new intelligence tools, while working closely with national and regional partners.
A good fit would be someone with extensive experience in military intelligence, strong leadership skills, and a deep understanding of secure communication and data systems.
You will serve as a Supervisory Intelligence Specialist in the Intelligence Directorate of COMMANDER, SPECIAL OPERATIONS COMMAND.
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level (GG/GS-14) or pay band in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector.
Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Overseeing all intelligence program management, contracting, logistics, finance and budgeting (MPF-2 and MPF-11) engineering, ISR, and test and evaluation functions for Special Operations Command Pacific (SOCPAC); 2) Performing as technical intelligence expert on intelligence and collection systems and techniques for SOCPAC; and, 3) Coordinating, collaborating and synchronizing with National and theater-level intelligence automated information, intelligence and communication systems, tools, databases and programs.
