This job is for a supervisory human resources specialist in the Army National Guard, where you'll lead a team handling military personnel programs to keep units ready for missions across the state.

THIS IS A NATIONAL GUARD TITLE 32 EXCEPTED SERVICE POSITION.
This National Guard position is for a SUPV HR SPEC (MILITARY) (TITLE 32), Position Description Number D2004000/D2003P01 and is part of the NC G1, National Guard (G1-MED / MD 1324-40).
**** THIS POSITION IS DEVELOPMENTAL **** Military Grades: Enlisted (E7 to E9), Warrant (CW2 to CW5), or Officer (O3 to O5) BASIC QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS: Skilled in collecting and analyzing data effectively, efficiently, and accurately; Ability to clearly enunciate English without impediment of speech that would interfere or prohibit efficient communication Ability to write English in reports and presentation formats; Ability to communicate clearly and effectively; Skilled in presenting formal training presentations and briefings; Ability to assess body language and perceive emotional and/or distress levels; and, Skilled in applying procedures and directives by reading and interpreting program material.
SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE: Must meet the non-supervisory GS-0201-09/11 qualifications; plus, have specialized experiences in career broadening human resources programs such as, leading, planning and scheduling work in a manner that promoted smooth flow and even distribution of assigned work requirements.
The individual must have experiences that included guiding employees on human resources military and/or civilian program tasks.
Experienced in conducting employee performance evaluations; mentoring junior officers, enlisted employees, and federal civilians; managing resources and budgets; and directing assigned work, or leading the employees on program tasks, inspections, exercises, deployments, and/or mobilizations.
Experienced in effectively and efficiently planning and scheduling work. Experienced in leading people and human resources personnel activities that included directing and assigning tasks and projects.
Experienced in structuring assignments to create viable procedures that resulted in measured and improved task processes.
Experienced in creating and implementing improvements in mentoring programs and strategies, executing training applications and career development that resulted in the employees' increased performance values in quality work, timeliness considerations, and work efficiencies.
Experienced in working within merit principles, equal employment, and affirmative action guidelines. Major Duties:
