About the Position: Serves as a Supply Technician in a Medical Treatment Facility (MTF) or dental clinic within the Defense Health Agency (DHA), NBRHLTHCLINIC Little Creek Patient Administration.

Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes: reviewing stock levels, performing monthly purchase card reconciliations, and assisting with the distribution of materials.

This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-04).

OR Education: Four years of education above the high school level obtained in an accredited business, secretarial or technical school, junior college, or university.

OR Combination of Education and Experience: A combination of education and experience may be used to qualify for this position as long as the computed percentage of the requirement is at least 100%.

To compute the percentage of the requirements, divide your total months of experience by 12. Then divide your semester hours of education beyond two years (total semester hours minus 60) by 60.

Add the two percentages. Major Duties:

  • Perform a variety of supply management duties to support the requisition, receipt, storage, issue, replenishment, inventory and control of supplies standard medical and non-medical items.
  • Maintain a monthly purchase log that reflects each card transaction, proper element of resource code, PCN and cost center.
  • Purchase goods and supplies for the department using a Government Purchase Card.
  • Research potential errors in records, and initiate action to reconcile or correct errors.
  • Compile information required for consideration in survey actions related to loss, damage or destruction of Government owned property.
