Advertised Job Summary

The Supplier Analyst performs and manages domestic tax accounting, domestic and international tax compliance, and supplier setup, maintenance, and analysis. In addition, the Supplier Analyst is a resource for and provides satisfactory customer service to departments and suppliers.

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities

• Knowledge of the principles, practices, theories and terminology of accounting and tax.

• Knowledge or demonstrated ability to understand and research state sales and use tax codes.

• Knowledge or demonstrated ability to understand accounts payable and purchase orders.

• Knowledge or demonstrated ability to understand ERP systems.

• Knowledge of state government fiscal accounting processes.

• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with others.

• Ability to communicate effectively.

• Knowledge or ability to improve process.
