Job Description

Summary

This job involves leading a team to manage supply chains for Navy and Marine Corps equipment, focusing on planning, analyzing, and improving how spare parts and supplies are distributed to keep operations running smoothly.

It requires overseeing tools and models for inventory, providing expert advice, and coordinating with various groups to meet readiness goals.

Key Requirements

  • At least one year of specialized experience at GS-12 level or equivalent in supply chain management
  • Extensive knowledge of readiness-based sparing, demand-based sparing, systems configuration, and usage data
  • Expertise in supply chain metrics and performance evaluation, such as retail effectiveness, CASREPs, Ao, and CWT
  • Familiarity with allowance processes and tools including CDMD-OA, RADWEB, RSupply, ReMAD, SAF, ASI, T-ART, and SACHF
  • Strong written and oral communication skills for clear and organized interactions
  • Ability to lead teams, foster collaboration across diverse groups, and provide technical guidance and training
  • Experience in planning, developing, maintaining, and analyzing retail models for repairable and consumable products

Full Job Description

You will serve as a Supervisory Supply Management Specialist in the Maritime Support/Readiness Division, Outfitting and Customer Operations Directorate, of NAVSUP WEAPON SYSTEMS SUPPORT.

#LI-NAVSUPWSS Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector.

Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Extensive experience in Supply Chain Management (SCM) including but not limited to Readiness Based Sparing and Demand Based Sparing, systems configuration, and usage data; 2) Expertise in SCM metrics and performance evaluation (i.e.

Retail effectiveness, CASREPs, Ao, CWT); 3) Allowance process knowledge such as Price-sensitive FLSIP, RBS, MBPS (CDMD-OA), RADWEB, RSupply, ReMAD, Standard Allowance File (SAF), ASI, T-ART, and SACHF; 4) Strong communication skills demonstrated by the ability to produce clear and organized written and oral communications; 5) Team collaboration and leading team environments to work effectively and foster collaboration across diverse groups.

  • You will serve as the Technical Expert/Supply Management Specialist for all Maritime Readiness activities.
  • You will be responsible for the planning, development, maintenance, and analysis of Retail models and tools used for Maritime repairable and consumable allowance products throughout the Navy and Marine Corps Commands.
  • You will develop, analyze, interpret, and evaluate directives, correspondence, internal/ external instructions and policies relative to Maritime Support/Readiness functions.
  • You will coordinate efforts and provide technical guidance, training, and work assignments to branch personnel.
  • You will assess resources and initiate reallocation to achieve program goals and objectives.
  • You will prepare, manage, execute, and defend requirements to sustain the operation and continuous support for the customer.
