Base salary range: $74,441 - $96,770

Note: Actual salary includes locality pay (15-40%+ depending on location).
This job involves leading a team to oversee shipbuilding and repair projects for the Navy, ensuring that contractors and crews fix complex systems on naval vessels while managing budgets and solving technical issues.
It requires coordinating multiple groups to meet deadlines and maintain high standards in a fast-paced environment.
A good fit would be someone with experience in industrial operations, especially in maritime or defense sectors, who is skilled at team supervision and problem-solving.
You will serve as a Supervisory Industrial Specialist (Shipbuilding) in the Waterfront Operations of FWD DEPLOYED REG MAINT CTR DET ROTA.
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector.
Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Managing complex systems aboard naval vessels and coordinating work of all activities (i.e.
private contractors, ship's force, AITs, etc.) to ensure systems are repaired; 2) Reviewing funds and accounting procedures to avoid misappropriation of funds; and 3) Evaluating technical and complex problem areas that occur during ship repair.
