This job involves leading a small team to manage and support recreational activities at a military recreation area, including scheduling events, overseeing staff, and handling inventory for things like equipment and facilities.
It's a supervisory role focused on keeping outdoor leisure programs running smoothly for visitors.

This position is located at the West Point Lake Frederick Recreation Area. Incentives and Bonuses Incentives may be authorized if it is determined to be in the best interest of the Government.

A qualified candidate must possess the following: 1.
Work experience in the administration of recreation activities such as: prepare activities calendars, maintaining attendance records, and provide information concerning schedules and activities, issuance of authorized property and in the maintenance of inventory control.
This experience must be reflected on your resume to be considered eligible for this position. OR 2.
Successful completion of a 4-year course of study leading to a bachelor's degree with major study or at least 24 semester hours in courses related to recreation or physical education in support of recreational activities.
The education/certification must be reflected on your resume and your degree/transcript/certification uploaded at the time of application to be considered eligible for this position.
In addition to the above qualifications, candidates who possess the following qualifications will be considered "Highly Preferred" or "Best Qualified": 1.
Minimum one (1) year experience in the Outdoor Hospitality Industry (recreational lodging, campground operations, resort management or a similar field).
The experience must be reflected on your resume at the time of application to be considered a highly preferred candidate.
