Base salary range: $104,604 - $135,987
Typical requirements: 1 year specialized experience at GS-13. Senior expert or supervisor.
Note: Actual salary includes locality pay (15-40%+ depending on location).
This job involves leading a team to handle administrative tasks like budgeting, human resources, and contracts for a Navy office, while advising top leaders on planning and improving operations.
It also includes analyzing programs, resolving issues, and influencing security and investigation policies.

For the GS 14: You must have one year of specialized experience which is equivalent in difficulty and complexity to the GS-13 grade level in the Federal Service (obtained in either the private or public sector) which demonstrates experience with the following: 1) provide advice to senior leadership in the planning and execution of organizational goals and management priorities; 2) maintaining direct responsibility for the operation of an administrative support staff, including daily supervision of the staff; 3)manage administrative functions such as budget, finance, contracts, travel, HR procedures, process improvement and facilities; 4) collaborating, coordinating, ornegotiating with internal and external stakeholders on behalf of senior leadership.
Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., professional, philanthropic, religious, spiritual, community, student, social).
Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. Major Duties:
