Base salary range: $104,604 - $135,987
Typical requirements: 1 year specialized experience at GS-13. Senior expert or supervisor.
Note: Actual salary includes locality pay (15-40%+ depending on location).
This job involves leading a team that oversees the development, budgeting, and integration of advanced weapons and sensor systems for Navy submarines, from research to real-world use.
It requires supervising staff, managing resources, and advising on undersea warfare strategies.
A good fit would be an experienced leader with deep knowledge of military technology and financial planning in defense projects.
You will serve as a SUPERVISORY PROGRAM ANALYST within the Submarine Systems, Sensors and Weapons Branch of IMMEDIATE OFC OF CHIEF OF NVL OPS.
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-14 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector.
Specialized experience must demonstrate performing duties such as the following: 1) Evaluating developmental capabilities for fleet integration; 2) Applying mastery level use of the Navy Planning, Programming, Budgeting and Execution (PPBE) and Objective Memorandum (POM) processes; 3) Demonstrating extensive experience with Headquarters-level financial management; 4) Translating requirements to technical specifications and/or requirement management; and 5) Applying knowledge of operational characteristics, employment doctrine and techniques, and weapon selection criteria for Undersea Warfare platforms and systems.
