This job involves leading a team of analysts to evaluate and plan programs for naval special warfare, focusing on identifying needs, managing resources, and aligning strategies with overall goals.
It requires overseeing budgeting processes and advising senior leaders on program effectiveness.
A good fit would be someone with strong leadership experience in analysis and planning, ideally from military or government settings, who enjoys strategic problem-solving and team management.
You will serve as a Supervisory Program Analyst in the Requirements & Assessments Department of COMNAVSPECWARGRU 2.
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-13 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector.
Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Directing and supervising a team of analysts responsible for requirement development, program analysis, resource management, and strategic planning; serving as a senior analyst and principal advisor to leadership on the evaluation and development of programs and resource requirements; overseeing the command's involvement in the Planning, Programming, Budgeting, and Execution (PPBE) process, including the development of the Program Objective Memorandum (POM); ; conducting complex analytical studies to evaluate program effectiveness, identify capability gaps, and determine resource priorities; developing long-range strategic plans and ensuring the alignment of programs and resources with organizational goals and objectives; and representing the organization and articulating command requirements and program plans to higher authorities and external agencies.
