Job Description

Summary

This job involves leading and improving administrative programs in a naval shipyard, such as handling purchase cards, payroll, and performance reviews, while analyzing data to make operations more efficient.

A good fit would be someone with experience in government or large organization administration who enjoys researching policies, conducting audits, and advising managers on better ways to run programs.

It's a supervisory role at a GS-11 level in Bremerton, Washington, focused on supporting the U.S. Pacific Fleet.

Full Job Description

You will serve as a SUPERVISORY PROGRAM ANALYST in the Administrative Office (Code 1102) of PSNS and IMF.

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the (GS-11) or pay band in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector researching and analyzing organizational data information and awards program operations policies and practices by implementing modernizations of efficiencies and effectiveness within a shipyard administrative organization.

  • You will plan and conduct program surveys, audits, projects, etc. regarding administrative programs, including purchase card program, pay administration and performance management, in a large activity.
  • You will analyze and evaluate quantitative effectiveness of program operations in meeting established goals and objectives.
  • You will analyze management information requirements to develop program or administrative reporting systems.
  • You will provide advisory assistance to managers on the most appropriate method or procedures on administrative programs.
  • You will develop, research, and recommend to the Administrative Officer, policies and policy changes on the varied and complex aspects of the cognizant programs.
