This job involves leading teams in the mechanical and electrical divisions to maintain and refit submarines, ensuring everything runs smoothly under tight deadlines.
You'll plan work, manage resources, and solve problems to keep operations efficient for the Navy's Trident and Columbia submarines.

You will serve as a Supervisory Production Superintendent in the ???????Mechanical and Electrical Divisions (TRF-320,330), Repair Department (TRF-300) of TRIREFFAC KINGS BAY.
For GS-13: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector.
Resume should display the following specialized experience: Experience serving as a Production Superintendent responsible for the organizational, supervision, direction, and resource management of the Mechanical/Electrical Division.
Experience implementing programs to manage and control facilities and equipment under division cognizance.
Experience defining, planning, preparing, guiding and executing the performance of the Machinery Division in support of refit maintenance and related activities for the submarines in a timely, effective, and efficient manner.
Experience generating division-level directives, instructions, procedures, and policies.
Experience addressing and resolving issues and problems associated with the tight time allowed for refitting each submarine.
Experience analyzing divisional workload projections and requirements as defined by ship schedules, maintenance/LDS feedback, scheduled intermediate maintenance, modifications/installations, emergency reports, and other sources to define, schedule and properly plan operations.
