Job Description

Summary

This job involves leading and overseeing complex purchasing processes for the U.S. Marine Corps, including managing contracts, guiding teams, and ensuring everything follows government rules.

It's a supervisory role where you'll advise top leaders, develop policies, and handle high-stakes decisions on big acquisitions.

A good fit would be someone with years of experience in government contracting, strong leadership skills, and the ability to communicate clearly with officials and teams.

Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Oversee and/or lead complex procurement processes; develop and/or implement policies; provide expert guidance; analysis of metrics, and reporting to senior leaders; manage contract functions and oversee use of contract systems; supervise staff; and/or ensure compliance with government regulations for high-value acquisitions.

  • You will supervise and mentor employees, identifying training needs and improving work processes for optimal performance.
