This job involves leading a team of police officers to patrol areas, respond to crimes and emergencies, and ensure safety on an Army installation in Kansas.

This is a Direct Hire Authority (DHA) solicitation utilizing the DHA for certain Competitive Service positions to recruit and appoint qualified candidates to positions in the competitive service.
About the Position: Perform law enforcement work to maintain law and order, preserve the peace, protect life and civil rights, detect and investigate crimes, apprehend violators, and perform patrols.

Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience in leading or guiding law enforcement patrols; directing responses to crimes, complaints, and emergencies; overseeing investigations of thefts, assaults, and drug-related incidents; preparing law enforcement reports; and coordinating emergency responses with security, fire, and other units.
This specialized experience is equivalent to work performed at the next lower grade level in the federal service (GS-08). Major Duties:
