Base salary range: $88,520 - $115,079

Note: Actual salary includes locality pay (15-40%+ depending on location).
This job involves leading a team of engineers to oversee nuclear quality assurance at a naval shipyard, ensuring high standards in safety and operations for nuclear projects.
It requires managing staff, developing policies, and improving work processes to keep everything running smoothly and efficiently.

You will serve as a SUPERVISORY NUCLEAR ENGINEER in the HEAD NUCLEAR QUALITY DIVISION, NUCLEAR ENGINEERING & PLANNING DEPARTMENT of PORTSMOUTH NAVAL SHIPYARD.
In addition to the Basic Requirements for this position, your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-13 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector.
Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: *Experience developing goals and objectives that integrate organization and nuclear quality assurance objectives.
*Experience establishing policies and procedures for accomplishment of establishes and evaluating the implementation of the Nuclear Quality Assurance Program.
*Experience planning and scheduling work in a manner that promotes a smooth flow and even distribution. *Experience coordinating plans and schedules with other organizations managers as appropriate.
*Experience developing, modifying and/or interpreting performance standards.
