Base salary range: $74,441 - $96,770

Note: Actual salary includes locality pay (15-40%+ depending on location).
This job involves leading a team of engineers to oversee the maintenance, repair, and testing of nuclear reactors on submarines at a naval shipyard in Washington state.
It requires providing technical guidance, coordinating projects, and ensuring everything runs smoothly between different departments and external partners.

You will serve as a SUPERVISORY NUCLEAR ENGINEER in the Nuclear Engineering and Planning Department of PSNS and IMF.
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector.
Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: A professional Engineer possessing a mastery of nuclear engineering concepts, principles and practices to provide technical leadership or oversight for nuclear projects relating to the overhaul, maintenance or conversion of reactor plants for nuclear powered naval vessels.
