Base salary range: $74,441 - $96,770
Typical requirements: 1 year specialized experience at GS-11. Advanced degree + significant experience.
Note: Actual salary includes locality pay (15-40%+ depending on location).
This job involves leading a team to manage and improve Navy personnel distribution systems, including analyzing data, solving technical issues, and developing processes for military HR assignments.
It requires supervising both civilian and military staff while ensuring systems run efficiently and meet operational needs.
A good fit would be someone with experience in program analysis, team leadership, and technical problem-solving in a government or military setting.
You will serve as a Supervisory Management and Program Analyst in the Distribution Management Division of NAVY PERSONNEL COMMAND.
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector.
Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Providing expert technical advice and preparing solutions or recommendations to system and software compatibility issues, 2) Coordinating logistical, personnel and technical support to provide access, instruction and training to users of information and data systems.
3) Developing and modifying new or existing process, procedures databases and applications, 4) Reviewing and advising leadership on short/long term operational plans and the resources needed, 5) Conducting routine analyses of work processes and program operations, identifying inefficiencies and issues of distribution operations, and 6) Providing technical and administrative supervision to civil servants and military personnel.
