Full Job Description

This position is located in the Office of the Secretary of War (OSW), Office of the Director of Administration and Management (ODA&M).

The ODA&M assists in managing a highly complex office with programs and projects that support the Secretary and Deputy Secretary of War (DoW), the OSW, the ODA&M, select Defense Agencies and Field Activities, and the Pentagon Reservation.

In order to qualify for this position, you must meet the requirements described below.

Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community, student, social).

You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience.

Incumbent typical work assignments may include the following: Serves as the Chief of the Freedom of Information Act Division in the Privacy, Civil Liberties, and Transparency Directorate.

Directs, coordinates, and evaluates the entirety of the DoW FOIA Program under the supervision of the Director, PCLTD.

Functions as a senior subject matter expert and principal advisor to both the Director of PCLT and the Director of Administration & Management (DA&M), the incumbent provides authoritative guidance in support of the functions assigned to the DoW Chief FOIA Officer.
