This job involves leading a team to manage military and civilian staffing needs for a Navy headquarters, including planning manpower programs, analyzing personnel data, and advising leaders on distribution and requirements.
It suits someone with experience in Navy human resources and data analysis who enjoys supervising others and handling complex workforce issues in a military setting.
You will serve as a SUPERVISORY MANAGEMENT ANALYST in the DIRECTOR MARITIME HEADQUARTERS, FLEET PERSONNEL DEVELOPMENT & ALLOCATION DIVISION, HQ COMMAND SERVICE, COMMAND MILITARY MANNING AND MANPOWER of COMMANDER US FLEET FORCES COMMAND.
To qualify for a GS-13, your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector.
Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Experience researching Navy Total Force manpower policies and using the Navy's Total Force Manpower Management System (TFMMS).
Experience providing information on the Shore Manpower Requirements Determination policy and procedures and related tools to provide guidance and assistance to leadership.
Experience working with Microsoft Excel and Access to provide data analysis and study military manning and total workforce manpower issues.
Experience utilizing online Navy human resource information systems such as FLTMPS, MyNavy Assignment, PBIS, TWMS, HR Link and PBIS.
Experience working with the officer and enlisted personnel distribution systems, distribution policies and procedures, and detailed knowledge of the procedures used to select, assign, and distribute officer and enlisted active-duty Navy personnel.
Experience writing reports and verbally briefing reports to clearly articulate and promote ideas and issues before a wide range of audiences.
