Full Job Description

You will serve as a SUPERVISORY RESOURCES SPECIALIST in the RANGES/TRGTS OPS/INSTRMTN & LABS GROUP, POINT MUGU SEA RANGE DEPT, SEA RANGE OPERATIONS DIV, SR TEST MANAGEMENT BR of NAVAIRWARCENWPNDIV POINT MUGU.

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the NM-04 pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector.

Specialized experience must demonstrate some or all of the following: 1) Supervising teams responsible for the planning and execution of Research, Development, Test, and Evaluation (RDT&E) operations; 2) Engaging with partner, stakeholder and customer organizations to identify requirements, align support efforts, and overcome barriers to operations; 3) Applying knowledge of RDT&E range operations to align range services with customer requirements; and 4) Capturing and applying lessons learned during operations to inform continual improvement processes.

  • You will be responsible for ensuring quality services are provided to all range test customers.
  • You will continuously improve customer products and services across all range operations by applying effective technical, business and management practices.
  • You will manage and direct range test operations through applied Knowledge of air-to-air, surface-to-surface, air-to-surface, and surface-to-air warfare areas.
  • You will supervise a technically diverse and complex organization and principles and make recruitment, project assignment, training, special recognition, and promotion decisions.
