Base salary range: $104,604 - $135,987

This is an office-centered position--you must physically report to the duty station stated in this announcement on a regular basis.

In addition to the basic entry education requirements, you must have specialized experience and/or directly related education as described below: To qualify for the GS-14 level, you must have 1 year of full-time* specialized experience equivalent to at least the GS-13 level defined as experience related to implementing a statutory program that involves review and analysis of scientific and/or technical documents.
Preparing formal written comments on behalf of the EPA to other government agencies or the public.

You will: Plan, organize, and direct the activities of the Environmental Review Section (NEPA review), ensuring that they comply with legal and regulatory requirements and meet customer needs.
Exercise personnel management responsibilities: performance, time, budget, etc. Develop relationships with high level officials within and outside Region and Agency.
Serve as a technical advisor to senior management on issues pertaining to the National Environmental Policy Act.
You will spend less than 25% of your work time on contracts, grants/cooperative agreements, and/or interagency agreements.
