This job is for a lead IT project manager in the U.S. Marine Corps, where you'll oversee teams handling IT communications, data centers, and projects while creating policies and managing budgets.

Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: providing supervisory and technical oversight in IT communications operations, project and data center management, and developing and implementing IT policies and procedures, systems analysis and budgetary requirements.

IT-related experience demonstrating this competency include: Interpret general higher authority policies and guidance pertinent to IT policy, planning, and processes.

IT-related experience demonstrating this competency include: Serve as a technical expert, authority, and advisor concerning organization-wide development.
Oral Communication - Expresses information (for example, ideas or facts) to individuals or groups effectively, taking into account the audience and nature of the information (for example, technical, sensitive, controversial); makes clear and convincing oral presentations; listens to others, attends to nonverbal cues, and responds appropriately.
IT-related experience demonstrating this competency include: Facilitate discussions regarding processes, procedures, and technologies related to information and knowledge management.
Problem Solving - Identifies problems; determines accuracy and relevance of information; uses sound judgment to generate and evaluate alternatives, and to make recommendations.
IT-related experience demonstrating this competency include: Identify solutions on extremely complex information technology system and/or to resolve critical problems related to systems and application.
