This job involves leading a team of IT specialists at a naval warfare center, where you'll create long-term technology plans, analyze systems to suggest improvements, and ensure IT setups align with the organization's goals.
It's ideal for someone with strong leadership skills and experience in IT strategy who enjoys solving complex tech problems in a government setting.
You'll also handle testing new systems and coordinating with other groups to make everything work smoothly.
You will serve as a SUPERVISORY INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY SPECIALIST (POLICY & PLANNING) in the ACIO/Information Technology (IT) Division of NAVUNSEAWARCENDIV KEYPORT WA.
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the NT-05 OR GS-13 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector.
Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Experience leading a group of Information Technology Specialists in providing direct IT support, developing long-range goals and objectives, applying state-of-the-art IT methodologies to implement computer system designs, and performing analysis, emulation, simulation, and what-if studies to develop operational proposals and recommendations for IT system advancements.
