This job involves leading a team to design, build, and manage software applications that support naval aircraft maintenance and logistics operations at a military repair center.
You'll oversee projects, code and integrate systems, ensure everything meets security standards, and mentor your team while working in a fast-paced defense environment.

You will serve as a SUPERVISORY INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY SPECIALIST (PLCYPLN/DATAMGT) in the Fleet Readiness Center (COMFRE) of FLTREADCEN EAST.
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector.
Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: - Leading or supervising a team responsible for enterprise application development (design, development, testing, and deployment).
- Performing hands-on application development tasks (e.g., coding, debugging, system integration).
- Applying advanced knowledge of programming languages, frameworks, and tools (e.g., C#, .NET, Java, Python, SQL).
- Managing technical aspects of application development projects, ensuring adherence to best practices, standards, and security protocols.
- Collaborating with stakeholders to gather or decompose requirements and define technical solutions. - Providing technical guidance and mentorship to team members.
- Ensuring compliance with IT policies, cybersecurity, and data governance standards.
- Experience in a DoD MRO depot or industrial environment, including familiarity with systems supporting maintenance, repair, overhaul, logistics, and supply chain operations.
