Summary

  • Familiarity with reporting tools such as Business Objects, Cognos, or equivalent

  • Ability to ensure compliance in pay administration, position management, classification, benefits, and performance

Full Job Description

This position is located at the Non-Appropriated Fund (NAF) Personnel Office, Taegu, South Korea (Camp Henry). This is not a remote position. Incentives and Bonuses Incentives will not be paid.

A qualified candidate must possess the following: 1.

Possess eighteen (18) months or more in a full-service human resources environment demonstrating knowledge in applying HR concepts, principles, laws regulations and practices. 2.

Experience analyzing, evaluating and recommending action action to resolve operational issues. 3.

Possess prior experience using Microsoft Office Programs (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, MS Teams) or similar, reporting tools (e.g., Business Objects Applications, Cognos, etc.), and various human resources systems and/or tools.

Major Duties:

  • Serves as a Supervisory Human Resources Specialist responsible for oversight, management of day-to-day operational processes, assignment of work, and supervision of employees.
  • Ensures compliance in the administration of pay, position management, classification, employee benefits and performance.
  • Works closely with internal and external customers to ensure the HR services provided meets the customers needs and performed within timelines.
  • Identifies areas of best practices, gaps, weaknesses and strengths within the services provided.
  • Develops presentations, briefings, reports and information papers.
